Welcome back, readers!
You’re in for a major treat today, as I’m sharing images from my recent birthing photography session with Ariceli & Will, who welcomed Baby E into the world this week!
I’ve decided to post the sneak peek of the first birth story that I had the honor of attending, on my website rather than Facebook since it does contain images of birth and surgical situations which may not appeal to everyone (so don’t scroll down if surgical situations make you squeamish)! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you appreciate the raw, real beauty of these! I was so appreciative of the hospital staff and my clients who were gracious enough to allow me to be a part of their wonderful day! The full gallery contains at least 100 deliverable (no pun intended) images, but I wanted to just highlight a few of my favorites! This was an amazing experience for me!

Baby E. weighed in at 7 LBS, 1 oz and is 19.5 inches long. She was born at 2:44 PM!
I asked mom and dad what their thoughts were when they first saw their brand new baby: Mom says ” I was instantly in love with my princess!! I couldn’t thank God enough for giving me the most beautiful blessing!” Dad recalls “How blessed we were to have such a beautful thing in that moment, and that our prayers for a healthy baby girl were answered.”
The first thing they noticed about their new baby was her vibrant attitude! This little one came out crying and screaming! Such a beautiful sound!
Wasn’t momma just GLOWING?!!
Thank you again, to the WONDERFUL staff at Bay Area Medical Center – Corpus Christi, and to the AMAZING parents who let me be a part of capturing their special day! I know these and all of the images taken during this session will be treasured forever!
Last but not least: Ariceli and Will’s advice on hiring the right birth photographer? “At first, we were undecided about investing in birth photography due to high risk pregnancy. However, looing back at our daughter’s birth photography photos we cannot be more thankful that we have chosen to capture these special moments. As a second time parent we understood how stressful the birth process can be, but tiwth birth photography we were able to enjoy the birth process without the stress of missing precious photo moments. From beginning to end, we will always look back and cherish her birth photography.” – Aricela
Thank you, and she couldn’t have stated that better! Especially, now, getting a “bird’s eye view” over the drape for her birth! Thank you for trusting me to be your eyes for this one, guys! – Cheryl
